«انقلاب مخملين» بنامندبراساس گزارش های رسیده مردم تهران در فضای بوجود آمده بعد از خشونت های امروز بر بام خانه ها الله اکبر گفته اند. این صدا از تهرانپارس تا شهرک غرب به گوش می رسیده است.ميرحسين موسوی پنجمين بيانيه خود را منتشر کرد. موسوی در اين بيانيه مهم آورده است: "آن چنان که می‌دانيد همگی ما در راه اين تجديد حيات ملی و تحقق آرمان‌هايی که در دل و جان پير و جوان ما ريشه دارند با دروغ و تقلب روبرو شديم و آن چيزی که از عواقب قانون‌گريزی پيش‌بينی کرده بوديم به صريح‌ترين شکل ممکن و در نزديک‌ترين زمان تحقق يافت." وی نوشته است: "اينجانب چون به صحنه می‌نگرم آن را پرداخته شده برای اهدافی فراتر از تحميل يک دولت ناخواسته به ملت، که تحميل نوع جديدی از زندگی سياسی بر کشور می‌بينم... نگذاريد دروغگويان و متقلبان پرچم دفاع از نظام اسلامی را از شما بربايند." موسوی ضمن تاکيد بر روش های مسالمت آميز و دوری از خشونت آورده است: "مطمئن باشيد که اينجانب همواره در کنار شما خواهم ماند."خبرها از تهران حاکی است که ميرحسين موسوی بعد از ظهر روز شنبه (امروز) در جمع راهپيمايان در خيابان آزادی، دوشادوش مردم حضور يافته و همچنين در ساعت ۲۰ برای مردم در خيابان جيحون تهران سخن گفته است. ميرحسين موسوی پيشتر گفته بود که تا دستيابی به خواسته های مردم صحنه را ترک نخواهد کرد. راهپيمايی مسالمت آميز مردم تهران در روز شنبه (امروز) با درگيری نيروهای ويژه که بی رحمانه مردم را مورد ضرب و شتم قرار می دادند، به خون کشيده شد. بر اساس يک خبر غيرموثق، ميرحسين موسوی در سخنان خود گفته است که آماده شهادت است.به رغم حضور چشمگير نيروهای امنيتی در سطح تهران، شمار زيادی از معترضان به روند انتخابات، در خيابان ها و ميدان انقلاب دست به تجمع زدند. نيروهای امنيتی، لباس شخصی ها و نيروی انتظامی به هر طريق ممکن مانع از گسترش جمعيت شرکت کننده در راهپيمايی امروز شدند و به شدت مردم را سرکوب کردند. آن ها با شليک هوايی و لوازم سرکوب، همچون استقرار ماشين‌های آب‌پاش در سطح شهر، قصد داشتند از شکل گيری حرکت اعتراضی امروز جلوگيری کنند. در خيابان های فرعی ميدان انقلاب درگيری هايی نيز گزارش شده است. اين درگيری ها در شهرهای شيراز و اصفهان نيز به وقوع پيوسته است. عکس های ویژه خبرنامه گویا از اعتراضات امروز را ببینید

Mousavi: People with their small benefits are unfairly calling this miracle of the Islamic Republic of Iran a mere creation of foreigners and velvet revolutionists.

According to reports, after today's violent atmosphere in Tehran, they went to their rooftops and chanted "Allah Akbar". These voices could be heard from TehranPars to Shahrak-e-Gharb. Mir Housein Mousave printed his fifth declaration. He states: " As you know, together in this path of renewing of the national life and research in the values that are rooted in the hearts of our young and old, we are faced with lies and cheats and the results of predicted fleeing the rule of law has been verified. As I see the situation now, do not allow the liars and cheaters, in their goal of forcing an unwated government to the nation, and forcing a new kind of political life on the people, to steel the defence of the flag of the Islamic Republic from you.

While Mousavi stressed peaceful protests and distancing from violence stated: "Be sure that I will stay with you."

The news from Tehran states that on Saturday around 12 noon, Mousavi was present amongst the demonstrators in Azadi street and at 20 hour, he gave a speech in Jeyhoon street in Tehran. Mousavi had previously said that untill the requests of the people are not met, he will not leave the scene. In the peaceful demonstrations in Tehran, once again, the special forces cruelly beat and bloodied the people. In an unconfirmed report, Mousavi has stated that he is ready for Martyrdom.

There was a large presence of the security forces on the scene in Tehran and a large number of protestors demonstrated in lieu of the election. The plainclothes agents, the Entezami forces and the security forces used every possible way to stop the increase of the crowds and beat them severely. They shot guns in the air, as well as utilizied water cannons with the intent of stopping the movement of today's demonstrators. In the side streets there were many clashes. Clashes were also reported in Isfahan and Shiraz.
