Massood Bastani sentenced to 74 lashes and 3 million rials penalty

Massood Bastani was a reporter and was sentenced to 74 lashes and 3 million rials. He was charged with distrupting the peace of the community by participating in "illegal" protests. (meaning protests that say something that the mullahs don't like to hear). Previously he was sentenced to six months in Arak jail for writing editorials for a newspaper.
