Islamic Republic's Corporal punishment

The Islamic Republic has carried out a lashing sentencing of two women Union Rights activists. If they thought by lashing women, it would cause others to fear the government, it makes many more determined to prove them wrong. The author hopes that many more news reports and opposing views will be voiced to signal to the regime that the opposing views are here to stay.

Two women Union right's activists in Iran were subjected to lashings. Soosan Razani received 70 lashes and Shiva Kheir-Abadi received 40 lashes.
