According to Sharzad News, approximately 500 of family members and friends went to the Khavaran grave. The authorities did not open the doors, but the family and friends went climbed over the walls and crawled underneath small bridges to get to the graves. Rumor is whenever family and friends would try to mark their loved one's graves, the authorities would go and bulldoze the ground.
