Iranian government officials appear very threatened by Revolutionary Guards Terrorist Label

From the viewpoint, one would think labeling the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist group
would have no effect on them. Many argue that this would cause further tension against Civil Liberty activists in Iran. But the Iranian officials are abusing anything that walks in Iran right now anyway. I think their abuse is literally backfiring, in my view. Why should people stop doing certain actions that they think are too far for the Islamic Republic? One gets abused for sneezing there anyway, any action is too far! I do admit that it appears the Islamic Republic Revolutionary Guards seem very unexpectedly fearful of this label. Their reaction suggests it seems this would hurt them immensely. In the past few weeks, they repeatedly issue warnings to the U.S. against this terrorist labeling and they have showcased their latest and greatest bombs.

My personal opinion about the Revolutionary Guard Terrorist Labeling: Go for it. Hit them where it hurts.

Shirin Ebadi asked United Nations to Investigate Iran's Handling of Women's Right's

"TEHRAN (Reuters) - Nobel Peace Prize laureate Shirin Ebadi said she had asked the United Nations to investigate the status of women in Iran and accused Iranian authorities of detaining activists demanding more women's rights.
Ebadi, speaking at a press conference on Monday marking the first anniversary of a campaign to gather 1 million signatures in favour of women's rights in the Islamic state, said she had contacted top U.N. human rights official Louise Arbour."

"I have written a letter to the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights and complained for the first time, and said this is the situation of women rights in Iran and these are our demands," Ebadi said.
"Please send a special rapporteur to Iran to report on women, to investigate the conditions for women," she said, describing her message to Arbour.

Iranian government resorting to more violence to stay in power

I always wonder who is the man in the mask doing the torturing. How can he do such a thing and live with himself. Is he an Iranian? How can someone do this to another human being. Perhaps he is mentally disturbed. He obviously feels that others could disapprove of his actions and is fearful of it, or why would he wear the ski mask and hide. Does he do this for money out of need or is he disturbed enough to want to do this for free. Even if you are in need, would you stoop so low as to profit off of hurting others? Does he sleep well at night knowing what he has done? Or does he even have a clue as to how morally wrong is actions are. Maybe he is on drugs? Or is he a criminal that the government has promised freedom to in exchage for his torturing others? Do the people that pay him not worry that he could come after them too? I assume he has no family or anyone that cares for him, who would after what he has done.
What happens that this ugly animal is created?

Iranian Head of Judiciary disappointed that his Torture Activities have been published

Saeed Mortazavi, the head of Judiciary in Iran and an individual known to be responsible for brutal tortures and deaths in Iran's Evin jail, was displeased that the torture taking place in the prison was leaked to the press. It was reported by Gooya news that he threatened the parents of Amir Kabir University Student activists that if they think the three students were tortured already, they haven't seen what true torture is. He was very angry that the news of the torture of the three students found its way to the press, and he stated that he repeatedly warned them to not inform the public of the activities in Evin. He continued that since the news has reached the public, he will send the 3 students to solitary confinement without any visitation rights whatsoever, and he will not set them free until they have submitted confessions.

Iran's Revolutionary Guards Scared Stiff

Lately the United States has announced its intentions to place Iran's Revolutionary Guards on its terrorist list.

The response of the Revolutionary Guard was very immediate, possibly an indication of their strong desire to not be on such a list. '"The identity of the Guards has terrified the enemies of this system and the revolution," the Guards replied in a defiant statement carried by the official IRNA news agency. '

usiranattacksmilitary_070816170825

However, it looks like the Revolutionary Guards and their supporters are the ones that are terrified and scared. They had a cleric give comments on friday prayers. Ahmad Khatami made a statement in regards to how the Iranin nation would never abandon its revolutionary people. He might want to reconsider his statement, since many of the revolutionary guards have abandoned the people themselves for the lush status and money Ahmadinjed showers over them. The cleric went on to tell how this act is akin to the U.S. going into a swamp it can never leave and added that the Revolutionary Guards will grow in strength as a result. http://www.gulf-times.com/site/topics/article.asp?cu_no=2&item_no=167398&version=1&template_id=37&parent_id=17

True to their tyrannical style, the Revolutionary Guards also responded with how they will "punch" the U.S. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20331180/

However, it looks like the Revolutionary Guards are the ones that are terrified and incompetent. They cannot even get out of a helicopter they get into, let alone "punch" the U.S. Recently, a helicopter containing 11 Revolutionary Guard members smashed into a mountain.

They punched something alright, they punched themselves into pieces.

Last song of Mohammad Shajarian Concert Dedicated to Imprisoned students

The last performance of Mohammad Reza Shajarian's concert, the "morgheh sahar" song was dedicated to the imprisoned Amir Kabir polytechnic students. One of the members of the audience suggested it from the balcony, and it was met with the applause of the thousands of audience members in the country's ministry hall.

The individual was then escorted out of the hall by members of the Harasat security police. The audience member did not return to his seat for the remainder of the concert.

August 5th, Day of protest against Jailing of Iranian Students

"...sometimes the original understanding can take you only so far- that on the truly hard cases, the truly big arguments, we have to take context, history, and the practical outcomes of a decision into account. According to this view, the Founding Fathers and orginal ratifiers have told us how to think but are no longer around to tell us what to think. We are on our own, and have only our reason and our judgement to rely on." B.Obama

I think these students realize this and are standing up for the right to apply one’s own judgement to determine one's destiny.

Iran busy creating climate of fear in Iran, while bribing foreigners for support outside of Iran

The Iranian dictators are bribing foreigners in Lebanon, while distracting Iranians with an atmosphere of fear and terror at home. Those in power in Iran don't seem to care much about the Iranian people, instead of easing the pressure of oil rationing on the public, they prefer to make allies that will support them abroad. This begs the question of how the current Islamic Oligarchy in Iran is all that different from the previous Monarchy. The Shah would give money in exchage for support from the US, now those in power in Iran give money in exchange for support from Islamic fundementalists in the Middle East.
